oil colour portrait
This is my latest attempt with oil colour. Done probably in June 2015. I am so in love with this painting - words cannot describe. To be absolutely honest about it, I started using aquarelle, and hated its texture and then started going over it with oil paint. Yes, should not do it, but i love the result. This, just like all of my oil painting portraits are inspired by the amazing art of the Fayum mummy portraits from Coptic period of Roman occupation in Egypt.
